Terms & Conditions
About These Terms
Posádh ("we", "us", "the Company") provides wedding post box hire services across Ireland. These terms govern all bookings made with us. By confirming a booking you agree to these terms in full. Please read them carefully.
Booking & Deposit
A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. The deposit amount will be stated in your quote. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your event date. Payment details will be provided with your quote. Your date is not held until your deposit is received and confirmed.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing by email. The following charges apply based on the notice given before the event date:
- More than 60 days: deposit only is forfeited
- 31–60 days: 50% of the total hire fee is due
- 30 days or fewer: 100% of the total hire fee is due
We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to postpone rather than cancel, please get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate a new date, subject to availability. A postponement is not guaranteed and is at the Company's discretion.
Delivery & Collection
We will agree a delivery window with you in advance, typically the evening before your wedding day. A responsible adult must be available to accept delivery at the agreed venue. Collection will take place the morning after the event, or as otherwise confirmed in writing.
We require safe, reasonable access to the venue for both delivery and collection. If access is not available as agreed, additional charges may apply. Hire items remain the property of Posádh at all times.
Care of Hire Items
You are responsible for the safety and condition of all hire items from the point of delivery until they are collected. Items should be kept in a safe indoor location when not in use and should not be exposed to extreme weather conditions unless specifically agreed.
Please do not attempt to repair, paint, or otherwise modify any hire item. Items should only be moved by competent adults and with reasonable care given their weight.
Damage, Loss & Theft
Any damage, loss, or theft of hire items during the hire period will be charged at the Company's assessed cost of repair or replacement. You will be notified of any such assessment within 7 days of collection. You agree to reimburse the Company for any such costs promptly on demand.
Limitation of Liability
Our total liability to you in connection with a booking is limited to the value of the hire fee paid. We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of enjoyment, loss of earnings, or any other economic loss arising from a booking.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Irish law.
Force Majeure
Neither party will be in breach of these terms for any failure or delay in performing obligations caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including extreme weather, illness, or other unforeseen events. We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and will work with you in good faith to find a suitable alternative arrangement.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
